I’m Mary — the heart behind Light & Laughter LLC — and if there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s this: I don’t just take photos. I create worlds. Moments that feel like they were pulled straight from a movie you swear you’ve lived before.

In Kingman, Arizona, where the sunsets hit like fire and the wind carries stories, I chase the kind of light that turns ordinary seconds into scenes worth remembering. I’m the girl running through the desert with a camera in one hand and a vision in the other — fixing your hair, hyping you up, laughing with you, and capturing the exact moment you forget the camera is even there.

My work is warm, emotional, cinematic — full of movement, tension, softness, and everything in between. I’m drawn to the in‑between moments: the breath before the laugh, the wind catching your hair, the look you give when you’re not trying to pose. That’s where the magic lives.

And that’s exactly why I created my Senior Rep Program.

Not everyone gets in. Not everyone is meant to. It’s for the seniors who want their year to feel bigger — louder — more unforgettable. The ones who want their photos to look like stills from the kind of film people talk about long after the credits roll.

Being a rep means stepping into a story with me — a story built around who you are right now, in this once‑in‑a‑lifetime season. It means creative sessions that feel like scenes, moments that feel like memories before they even happen, and an experience that feels exclusive because it is.

This isn’t just a photoshoot. It’s a role. A cast spot. A chance to be part of something that feels rare, cinematic, and completely your own.

A Bit About The Program

The Light Society Requirements

Joining the Light Society isn’t just signing up — it’s stepping into a creative, cinematic, unforgettable senior‑year experience. Because this program is intentionally small and exclusive, there are a few requirements to make sure every member is fully immersed in the magic.

Here’s what it takes to become part of the Light Society:

📍 Live Within the Light Society Radius

You must live within 50 miles of Kingman, AZ — or be willing to travel at least three times throughout the year for sessions and events.

🤝 Attend the Informational Meeting + Meet & Greet

This is where the story begins. You’ll meet the other applicants, hear all the details, and take your first photos to announce the new Light Society group.

💛 Be Willing to Invest in Yourself

This program is about growth, confidence, creativity, and community. You’ll be encouraged to join in on volunteer days and be part of something meaningful.

🎥 Participate in Required Group Sessions

You’ll attend:

The first themed group shoot
The meet & greet
Two additional group shoots throughout the year

There are six group shoots total, but you only need to attend the required ones — though you’re always welcome at all of them.

📸 Share Your Experience on Socials

Part of being a Light Society member is celebrating your journey. You’ll post images from your individual sessions and themed shoots on your social media.

📝 Sign the Contract + Model Release

This allows me to share your images and showcase how incredible you look throughout the year.

🖼️ Use One of Your Senior Photos as Your Profile Picture

For part of the year, you’ll use one of your Light & Laughter senior photos as your Facebook or Instagram profile picture — a simple way to represent the program.

📲 Follow Along on Socials

You’ll follow me on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok — and stay connected with the Light Society community.

You’ll also follow and tag your professional hair and makeup artist in your images.

🚫 No Working With Other Photographers

To keep the experience exclusive, you cannot represent or work with another photographer from the moment you’re accepted until the end of your senior year.

💬 Refer Your Friends — and Have Fun

Referrals help you earn cash back, rewards, and prizes. But more importantly — this program is meant to be fun, creative, and unforgettable. Bring your energy, your personality, and your excitement.

We’ll kick off your journey with a formal meeting to walk through your experience, answer questions, and get you excited for everything ahead. Here you'll meet your Light Society family at an exclusive group session where you’ll laugh, connect, and create memories — and yes, you’ll get free images from this and other group sessions planned throughout the year.

Kick off the year with a fun, high‑energy meet & greet followed by a group shoot to start building your ambassador family.

Seasonal, creative, aesthetic‑driven shoots that feel like stepping into a mood board. You’ll receive free images from these sessions too.

🎥 Unique Solo Creative Shoots

When inspiration strikes, you’ll be the first person I call. These creative, one‑of‑a‑kind solo shoots are exclusive to ambassadors only.

Some sessions may include travel — giving you the chance to shoot in new, exciting locations for a more cinematic experience.

You’ll receive the L&L Ultimate Senior Portrait Package, which includes:

Two individual sessions in two different seasons

✨ Senior Rep Program FAQ — The Light Society Edition

🎥 Do I have to be a model?

Not at all — and honestly, that’s the best part. Most of my girls walk in nervous, unsure, or convinced they’re “awkward” in front of the camera. But you won’t stay that way for long. I pose you from your nose to your toes, hype you up the entire time, and make the whole experience feel fun, natural, and confidence‑boosting. You don’t need experience — just trust and a willingness to have a good time.

⏳ How time‑consuming is this?

You’re seniors — I know your schedules are packed. That’s why you get to choose how involved you want to be.

Here’s what’s required:

Two big group rep sessions
Two individual sessions throughout the year

Everything else is optional. You can join bonus themed sessions (as many or as few as you want). Some reps do the minimum, others join 5+ extra sessions because they love the experience. Extra sessions are add‑ons and can be paid for through referrals or $50 per session.

💸 How do I earn cash back & rewards?

Every L&L Rep gets a unique referral code worth $20 off a senior package for friends. For every referral you bring in, you earn $10 — paid as a gift card or cash back. Your referrals can literally pay for your entire rep program.

💰 Will this cost me anything?

Yes — but far less than the value you receive.

The only required cost is $150 (valued at over $1,000). This covers your four guaranteed shoots during your senior year.

Here’s how payment works:

$50 retainer due at contract signing
Remaining $100 split between your two individual sessions ($50 each)
Pay upfront or at each session
Payment plans available

And remember — referrals can earn you cash back that may cover the entire cost. If you’re sponsored by a family member or friend, your cost may be fully covered.

Your investment covers the supplies, props, and goodies that make this experience unforgettable — including everything used at the exclusive meet‑and‑greet. Think:

📸 How many photos will I receive?

Each group session includes 20 images
Each individual session includes 5 images (with the option to purchase more)
Each bonus themed session you join includes 5 images

The more you participate, the more images you collect.

💻 How will I receive my gallery?

Your gallery is delivered electronically through a personalized link. You can share this link with grandparents, parents, cousins — anyone who wants to see your photos. Every session you participate in will be added to this same link so you have easy access to your entire Light Society journey.

📝 How can I be considered?

Just apply — and be detailed in your responses. If selected for consideration, you’ll receive an email with your invitation to the exclusive meet‑and‑greet. This is where your $50 deposit is due and your contract will be signed by you and a parent (unless you’re 18+).

🤝 How do I sponsor a senior?

Sponsoring a Light Society member gives a local senior the chance to experience a year full of friendships, activities, modeling opportunities, and ways to earn money — at no cost to them. This ensures that a deserving senior who may not have the financial means still gets the opportunity to join.

🎬 How many reps do you accept?

This year, I’m accepting only 10 seniors out of the 20 applications I’ll review. It’s intentionally small — a tight‑knit, exclusive community. Next year may grow, but this year’s group will be intimate, connected, and unforgettable.
